Raju Rage gathers participants at table for an informal discussion on the complex relations between art, gender, and activism. This conversation provides an opportunity to reflect and share ideas together.
The kitchen table is a fundamental element of Rage’s work—serving both as a symbol, and a platform for discussions on domestic work. Meeting around a table in the gallery, this casual conversation will map connections between art, activism, and academic knowledge. Topics will include language, gender, race, working conditions, cultural context, and more.
Interrogating the possibilities and limits of translation, this conversation will reflect on these issues in a French context. Participants are welcome to bring and share their own references, alongside their ideas.
